I hope Kibaki retains the Presidency for the next 5 years then Raila can come in 2012. This will help consolidate the gains Kibaki has achieved. However there are people who should really be sent home, the likes of Nyaga, Karume, Mwenje, Ntimama etc.
I read an article from a luo in Canada saying they don't like raila. They say he is an egocentric luo, who only cares about buying himself a hummer, turning a blind eye on all the kenyans in places like kibera. I vote kibaki
there is one thing i ma really worried about in the majimbo system of government. this means different rules for different areas.today i have just seen something in the net i will never for get in my life. a boy(about 5yrs) in an arab country had his hand crushed by a car because he stole a piece of bread!!!the public just looked at the boy without any feeling of remorse.this boy would have done it out of hunger or for fun(a boy is a boy).this is according to isamic law.how can we dare allow this kind of rules to govern us? we should have national laws and bot provincial otherwise people in power will only take advantage.let's seriously think about it. i say raila never!!!
Kibaki proof is realtime. GDP 7% and wants to get it upto 10%. World bank has given a clean bill of health recently to the financial standing of Kibaki's rule. Corruption is lower than it has ever been. Foreign investment is now peaking with interest? Free education for the young and even more reform to come for the young. Heath care to become the best in Africa from Kenya with the contribution of AKDN.
I say that Kibaki needs more time to set the foundation right for another new leader to come and carry the flag.
I say Kibaki. He has gained much respect for the things he is doing from local and international prospects! Raila is full of ego. I can't imagine him sitting with other world leaders and actually listening. I also heard his first born son in named Fidel Castro? that he looks at Hitler and Fidel as role models! Never Raila.
